We are delighted to welcome Maison Milhade to Plateau on 29th September to present a selection of wines from their portfolio.
Milhade is a family business which began back in 1938. Since those early days their portfolio of chateaux has increased gradually to five with strong representation around the world-renowned Pomerol area.
We will be tasting five wines from different Milhade estates on the evening, learning about their individual history, terroir and winemaking style. The wines will include the following and an additional white and rosé:
2008 Chateau Damase, Bordeaux Superieur
2011 La Fleur-Chadenne, Fronsac
2006 Chateau Lyonnat, Puisseguin St Emilion
2007 Chateau des Annereaux, Lalande de Pomerol
Our host, William Cantin, director at Milhade et Fils, will be jetting over immediately after harvest to join us, so this will be a wonderful opportunity to get the latest updates on the 2014 Bordeaux vintage.
The evening will begin at 6:30pm in the private dining room and tickets are £20 each which includes the six wines and a selection of matching canapes. To reserve your places, please email us. (Please note that we will kindly ask for your ticket to be paid for in advance as confirmation.)
